FOGG Odyssey bio picture

Troy Floyd

I missed the 60's, American, hate cooked green vegetables but love the taste of a cheese and mustard sandwich, been to 20+ countries, once had a 6-figure salary but quit it to be happy.

Goals in life:

* Sail the Amazon River in my own man made boat from Ecuador to Peru

* Hike Norway on the pilgrimage trail from Oslo to the North for 1 month

* Travel the world by car or motorcycle for 2 years

* Expand my photography skills

* ...and buy a winning lottery ticket!

Think that sums me up pretty much!  In all honestly, I'm currently living in Quito, Ecuador.  After working long 12hr days, 7 days a week, chasing the wealth dream I finally decided it was time in my life to do something I'm passionate about, PHOTOGRAPHY and TRAVEL!

I will be adding daily posts and pictures to this site, as this site is merely to display my work and keep people informed of where I'm at and doing.  Sign up for my email feeds to get my posts delivered to your inbox.  It's the best way to keep informed!

Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur…wow!

Kuala Lumpur has been good.  I spent only two days here but was able to get some good shots that I was happy with.  After my little debacle with my camera I was real anxious to get it out and start shooting again.  I only knew of one thing that I wanted to get a shot of while in KL and that was the Twin Towers.  You might have seen them before in the movie with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones called “Entrapment.”  I didn’t think it would be all that great but still wanted to get some night shots up close of it.  I was totally surprised though when I seen it…its one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen.  It’s modern, stylish, sleek, unique and it had me in awe when I seen it.  Whoever designed it thought about it long and hard as every angle of the building was perfect.  Had real fun getting night shots of the towers and the next day came back to take some day shots as well.

I’m starting a new thing with this blog.  When you highlight over the pictures you will be able to see the info stats of how I took the exposure.  I have seen this on another site before and it alway satisfied my question of what he was doing. It will look something like this:

Canon 5D | 24-105mm | 1/200 | f/11 | ISO 100
