I missed the 60's, American, hate cooked green vegetables but love the taste of a cheese and mustard sandwich, been to 20+ countries, once had a 6-figure salary but quit it to be happy.

Goals in life:

* Sail the Amazon River in my own man made boat from Ecuador to Peru

* Hike Norway on the pilgrimage trail from Oslo to the North for 1 month

* Travel the world by car or motorcycle for 2 years

* Expand my photography skills

* ...and buy a winning lottery ticket!

Think that sums me up pretty much! In all honestly, I'm currently living in Quito, Ecuador. After working long 12hr days, 7 days a week, chasing the wealth dream I finally decided it was time in my life to do something I'm passionate about, PHOTOGRAPHY and TRAVEL!

2nd Visa Run: Krabi, Phuket, Singapore and Malaysia

Leaving today to make another visa run. I decided I would hit up the islands of Southern Thailand this time before leaving the country. Going to fly to Krabi and spend two days there relaxing. The hotel I’ll be staying at, Aonang Grand Inn, seems fairly nice and only 400 baht ($11.75) per night.

I’ll head to Phuket Island on 05Jun, just a few hours away from Krabi. Plan on doing some good scuba diving while there and maybe a day trip somewhere

Since the Thai government put a little stamp in my passport that says I have to be gone by 08Jun09, I’ll fly from Phuket on the 8th to Singapore. Been wanting to go to Singapore for a long time now and see the city. I hear nothing but good things there and hope to meet an American guy who runs a blog called “Mom says I’m Running Away From Home, while there. I’ll keep ya posted but I he’s about to get married and might be super busy when I’ll be in the area. Anyways, check out his blog as it’s great, full of awesome pictures and worth a read. While in Singapore I have no set plans as of yet, other then to shoot some city shots while there. The country is after all just one big city so not sure what all they have to offer.

After Singapore I’ll travel to Malaysia for 5 days. Again no set plans there as well but since I haven’t been there before and no expectations…then it’ll all be good. Sometimes plans just cloud the moment, so will keep ya posted on it.

My time is nearing before I have to leave Asia for good. Trying to get in as many new places as possible and do as much as I can. Now that I have this blog set up I’ll try to do a daily post while traveling, if internet access will allow. I’ll post pictures here until I finally get my gallery going as well.
